Fall has “officially” arrived here in New York. It was a bit touch and go there for a moment. With fall comes more layers and chankier knits. I’ve put together 4 looks that are sure to up your fall wardrobe for any occasion. I hope this will get you in the mood for fall and give you a bit of inspritation.
Last week I was invited to the Maison Jules Christmas Party. The event was at Interface in Midtown. Christmas music played while we enjoyed drinks, small bites, a snowy photo booth and a few gifts. Maison Jules gifted us with sweaters and complimentary monogramming by Daphney. There was also a tote with iron patches station and Christmas cards. While everyone mingled and sipped their drinks I walked around waiting for my friend to show up and he never did. One thing about me is that I hate being at parties by myself. I know I know I need to get better, stop being anti social, network, blah, blah, blah. So I of course was caught at the party on my phone. It’s my escape, cop out and default. Luckily I did meet a guy who was working the party that I had seen in the play SOMEDAY. He looked really familiar but I did’t know why then it clicked, that’s probably why I was on my phone in the photo above. Any who in the end I did do some networking because I spoke briefly to him about my non profit and we’re seeing how his organization and mine can partner together. So I’m getting better, baby steps. All in all it was a good time on a Tuesday night. Be sure to check out their cute sweaters and full line at Macy’s.

I’m hitting these NY streets in my Madagascar print Gutanga pants. I was contacted by the LA based company to pick my favorite pair of pants and rock them my way. I fell in love with the Madagascar print immediately. The next pair I own, I will definitely go a size up, they fit in the waist but my calves are larger so they are a bit tight. Nonetheless these will be a summer staple for work and play. Now about this Hayden Harnett Bardot Leather Clutch. I love how it’s reversible, I’ll probably never wear it on the ‘Pessimist’ side, but to have the option is always great. The ‘Optimist’ side lends a bright spot in any negative day for you or someone else that may see it. How do you rock printed pants or a graphic clutch?
Today it’s another beautiful day in New York. So why not show some leg? I decided to pair this jacket from Lotus Halo with a leopard skirt from +TopShop and this graphic tee I snagged at the +Barely Famous premiere. I kept my jewelry rather simple to not compete with the jacket and grabbed my vintage cross body bag.
I’m literally obsessed with this military jacket from Lotus Halo right now. If I could get away with wearing it everyday I probably would. I love this jacket because it’s in a basic military silhouette and adds glitz to any outfit. What piece do you have that can glam up any outfit?
