Hayden-Harnett Two Way Tote

It’s starting to look a lot like spring here in New York. What better accessory for Spring and Summer than my Hayden-Harnett Two Way Tote. I love this bag it holds everything and It’s reversible, I can wear it two ways, white or silver. The bag is super soft leather and also comes with a zipper pouch for small belongings. The only con about the bag is how easily the with side gets dirty. I started wearing it on the silver side and lined the inside with the dust bag but by the time I was ready to wear it on the white side it was still dirty.  As for the rest of my outfit, I opted for a very simple palette to play off the bag. I decided that the white side would pop more, I didn’t want it to get lost competing with silver on silver with the jacket. I kept my accessories pretty simple today with a silver two tier necklace from Zara and a few random bracelets. As you should know by now these are my go to heels, I just love the simplicity of them.
What’s you go to accessory this Spring/Summer? Go check out for the Two Way Tote and all their other fabulous bags.

I was approached by PRINTL to try out their Instagram Print Service. They print out your top 10 posts from the previous month and sent them to you. I really do like this idea especially since everything is so digital these days. It’s nice to get physical copies of your images. The pros to this service is the pictures came rather quickly and they print on really quality paper. The cons is you don’t get to choose which pictures you get printed, they choose the 10 pictures with the most likes.
If you would like to try PRINTL here’s a discount code just for you, PRINTL50. Hope you enjoy your pictures as much as I do. 🙂

Echo Design x Hunt Slonem

This post is a collaboration post with my boo Victoria from Vic Styles. We both received the Hunt Slonem Limited Edition Butterfly Fields Silk Square Scarf from Echo Design and are styling it our own way. Be sure to head over to her blog, Vic Styles, to see how she styled her blog.
I knew I wanted to pair mine with my Zara fur jacket. I wanted to keep my outfit pretty neutral and keep the focus on my scarf and clearly the jacket. I kept with the simplicity with barely any jewelry and added my Swell Vision, Sand Dollar watch. I was given the opportunity to receive a scarf from Echo Design’s new capsule collection which portrays the artwork of American artist Hunt Slonem. Slonem’s iconic bunnies and butterflies displayed on their scarves and bags. You can view the entire collection HERE. I can’t wait to rock this scarf this spring and summer and pair it with some brighter pieces.

Right before I left for my Christmas in DC I received a package from FYI PR. The package included a pair of Flips Audio Headphones. I was so excited to try these out, I originally saw them at fashion week in September and thought “How Cool.” The headphones flip out and become speakers. You can turn your party for one into a party for many with the flip of the earpieces. I used them the other night with my friends and we had an impromptu oldies/ back in the day/ reggae dance party.  The headphones do require to be charged up to remain in speaker mode. I charged mine when I first got them and haven’t charged them since. I use them almost everyday but mainly in regular headphone mode. They also come with a 90 day warranty.
What I love about these headphones is the sound quality is great, I usually have the music on a low to medium volume, as I don’t want to miss my stop off the train. They double as earmuffs. It is so cold and windy here now these have saved my life. As I stated before I have really sensitive ears and that goes for the inside as well. Any cold air that gets in my ears, it’s just super painful. So these protect my ears without being sound proof when I’m not playing music.
I don’t like the fact that when I take them off sometimes, and my music is still playing, my ear pieces flip out. Now everyone is staring at me like why is she blasting her music. So I wish there was maybe a lock mode for the ear pieces. I thought these would be a problem to wear with my afro but the strap actually pushes my hair back without causing tension. They did take some getting used to as I have really sensitive ears and have never had anything on my ears like this ever, headphones, earmuff, nothing. I would suggest not wearing earrings with them.
All in all I’m really glad I got these. I would have never bought them for myself and now I can’t be without them. Thanks again FYI PR. Do you have these headphones? If so,  how do you like them?
Flips gets a 9 out of 10.

NYE Cocktail Dresses under $100 brought to by

I had the pleasure of working with Kleiden Drew to bring you 3 cocktail dresses that are sure to turn heads at any New Year’s Eve party. Below are all 3 dresses and how I styled them.

L’Atiste – Starlet Brocade Mini Dress

Coat | Tahari
Heels | Aldo
I chose this Tahari coat to compliment the dress because of its classic silhouette and girly ruffles. I opted for a necklace in the same tone as the dress. This adds another layer of texture without taking away from the beautiful pattern in the dress.  To finish the look off, a pair of black suede pumps, once again a classic silhouette for this vintage inspired dress. If it’s a bit chillier on your NYE night pair this look with a pair of black tights for an added layer of warmth.
Heels | Aldo
For this look I decided to take it more glam. I feel very Diana in this outfit. I loved the texture in the choker and how it almost mimics the texture of the sequins in the dress. The double finger ring was an obvious choice, it gives my outfit an element of fun with the starburst gem in the middle. I went with the same pumps from the first outfit as I didn’t want anything that would try to compete with the dress and accessories.
Jacket | Miilla
Booties | Forever 21
This was by far my favorite dress, the sequins are reversible so it’s like you have two dresses in one. I went more rocker chic for this look. The Miilla jacket with the bias zipper and faux suede texture was a perfect pairing especially with these booties. This 4 finger ring added another rocker element with the snake going in and out of my fingers.  With laces going up the back of these bootiesit gives your outfit an added surprise as you walk away.
